Inaugural Golf Week including 3 Open Championship Qualifying Courses

Play 4 of Fife’s top golf courses all within easy reach of St Andrews in the inaugural Fife Golf Week.  Courses are links and heathland with 3 of them Open Championship Qualifiers.

The format is any combination of Ladies and Gents, pairs better ball stableford. Competitors must have an up to date CONGU handicap with the limit of 28 for men and 36 for ladies. Minimum age is 18. (90% individual handicap allowance).

Field is limited to 50 pairs (25 Tee Times) so early booking advised.

Prizes for each day and overall winners.

Mon 13th September Crail (Craighead) – Links
 7th Oldest Golf Club in the World

Crail Golfing Society is set on the easternmost edge of the Kingdom of Fife, just 12 miles from St Andrews and the Home of Golf. Founded in 1786 the club dates back to the very origins of the game. While no two rounds of golf at Crail are ever the same, you will always be welcomed with the same special brand of Scottish hospitality.

Tue 14th September Scotscraig – Links & Heathland
Scotscraig Golf Club has hosted the final qualifying for The Open Championship on 6 occasions and the Golf Medal has been played over Scotscraig since 1818.

13th Oldest Golf Club in the World.

Ian Baker-Finch, Brian Barnes, Justin Rose, Mark Mouland, Duffy Waldorf, Ernie Els, Lee Westwood and Sam Torrance are only a few of the famous players to have graced this renowned classic Fife course.  Justin Rose describing it as “Great course, great greens and very friendly”

Wed 15th September The Lundin – Links
Magnificent Tom Morris/James Braid designed golf course. Lundin Links, just 20 minutes from St. Andrews is one Scotland’s gems. Formerly a qualifying course to The Open Championship when played in St. Andrews.

Thur 16th September Ladybank – Heathland
Ladybank Golf Club is synonymous with The Open Championship Qualifying. One of the premier courses in the UK, it has hosted final Open qualifying on seven occasions since. In 2018 Ladybank was rewarded with final qualifying for The Senior Open Championship hosted at St Andrews.
