Situated less than 2 miles inland from Southport`s Beach and Promenade, Southport Old Links is easily accessible. It is a lovely intimate links-parkland course, surrounded by birch trees with views eastwards across the Lancashire plain to distant hills.
The course measures 6,461 yards, par 72 for men and 5,707 yards, par 73 for ladies and is a fair, challenging and enjoyable test for all levels of golfer. Although only 9 holes it has 18 very different tees that give the feel of a true 18 hole course. The length of many of the holes is king sized, a truly demanding test of golf and a delightful golfing experience.
