Forest Park Golf Club

Forest Park Golf Club is situated in the village of Stockton on the Forest, just 3 miles north east of the historic and beautiful city of York.

This easy walking 27 hole parkland golf complex is fast becoming one of the best up and coming courses in Yorkshire. It is renowned for its large greens and narrow tree lined fairways. The designer has made good use of the Old Foss Beck meandering through the course creating a natural hazard on many of our most challenging holes, particularly 10, 11 and 12 which are becoming known as Forest Parks own 'Amen Corner'.

The 18 hole Old Foss Course is 6673 yards, par 71, ss 72. This course has a challenging variety of holes, which include a short par 3 over a pond to an island style green, varying lengths of par 4's and demanding par 5's. This makes an enjoyable and testing game for golfers of all abilities.

The 9 Hole West Course is 6372 yards (twice around) par 70, ss 70. It has a blend of long and short holes, which require good course management and careful shot making decisions.

The course is maintained to a high standard by dedicated green staff. They use modern equipment and a computerised irrigation system, which combine to enhance the presentation of this high quality golfing venue.
