Dunnerholme Golf Club

Club Details

Dunnerholme Rock from which the Golf Club gets its name, is a limestone outcrop that projects out in to the Estuary and is part of the course.

The flat top of the rock forms a strategic feature of the club's signature Par 3, sixth hole " from the top, on a clear day, the panoramic view over the Duddon Sands to the Lakeland Fells and Mountains is spectacular.

The ten hole golf course, unique in Cumbria, has eighteen tees ensuring that the holes to be repeated, offer a different perspective second time round . Tide and prevailing winds all add to the challenge, but the shelter that the mass of Black Combe provides means the course seldom has to close for bad weather.
