Waterton Park is set amongst the wonderful Yorkshire Countryside. The 18 hole championship course was built within the walls of the historic Waterton Estate. The Estate was developed by the pioneering Victorian Naturalist, Charles Waterton, who created the worldï¿½s first nature reserve here and today we still share the park with all manner of wildlife The unique topography of the Estate was cleverly exploited by the course designer Simon Gidman, he created a 200 acre course, with usga specification greens and treelined fairways. The course lets you escape the outside world with panoramic views over the parkland and 26 acre Walton Hall Lake
