Dufftown Golf Club
Club Details
Located one mile south of Dufftown on the B9009. Set amongst wonderful scenery this Course is a golfer's challenge and a photographer's dream. From the 1st tee the Course appears to climb for the first two holes but taken at a steady pace once you are on the second green any inclines after that are not too noticeable. Your thoughts are taken up with the challenge the Course sets and the dazzling scenery, the overall experience is of rolling fairways lined with heather and heath. The 7th is one of the shortest holes in Scotland at 67 yards off visitors tee across a deep gully and has been described as a testing picturesque little hole. The 9th tee is also one of the highest tees in UK being 1294 feet above sea level while the stunning 10th tee stands 1213 feet above seas level it is a par 4 with a 339 feet vertical fall from tee to green, a test of skill to all who play the Course. This exceptionally friendly Club was founded 1896 and welcomes new members and visitors the the Club.
